Mr. Al Cerrone, founding sponsor of the RI National Guard Open House Air Show is awarded the Patrick Henry award.

At a ceremony held at the 143d Airlift Wing (AW) All Ranks Club, Quonset Air National Guard Base (ANGB), North Kingstown, Rhode Island (RI), Major General Robert Bray, Adjutant General, Commanding General, RI National Guard (RING) presents the Patrick Henry Award to Mr. Al Cerrone, founding sponsor of the RING Open House and Air Show. The Patrick Henry Award is given to a civilian by the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS). It is designed to provide recognition to local officials and civic leaders, who in a position of great responsibility distinguished themselves with outstanding and exceptional service to the Armed Forces of the United States, the National Guard or NGAUS. It was presented to Mr. Al Cerrone, superior supporter of the Armed Forces, specifically the Rhode Island National Guard, and founding sponsor of the RI National Guard Open House and Air Show.
