Photography

The base photojournalism section has a highly trained professional photographers assigned to provide photographic support for base-level managerial, operational, training, educational, historical archiving, investigative and administrative purposes. Additionally we provide the Secretary of Defense, Joints Chiefs of Staff, AMC, NGB, and the 143d Airlift Wing, 102d Network Warfare Squadron, 282nd Combat Communications Squadron, JFHQ-RI, and our RI Army National Guard counterparts with imagery capability in support of operations during crisis, contingencies, exercises, and wartime operations.

Broadcasting/Video

Our video section provides professionally trained broadcasters to support base-level video requirements for managerial, operational, training, educational, historical archiving, investigative, and administrative purposes.

We produce a wide range of video products:

· Mission videos
· Local news highlights
· Ceremony documentations (MAJCOM, Numbered AF, Wing and vice/deputy commanders, General Officers and civilian equivalents)
· Important historical figures
· Historical documnentation
· Operations and exercice documentaion

Customers requesting a local production should meet with a broadcaster as early as possible before the required completion date. The customer is responsible for providing a basic information for a script and outline of the production.

Customers requesting video support must submit an AF Form 833 at least 5 duty days prior to the event.

Photography Requests:

Location photography - 72 hours

Studio photography - by appointments

Graphics Requests:

Large-scale original designs - by appointments

Self-help projects - first come, first serve

Video Requests:

Productions (local only) - 10 duty days

Documentation only - 5 duty days

PRIORITY SYSTEM

Priority 1: Priority Resources, Mishaps, Investigations, Alert Calls
Time: 1 Working Day

Priority 2: Mission Essential Time critical request.
Time: 2 to 10 Working Days

Priority 3: Routine work requests.
Time: 11 to 29 Working Days

Priority 4: Non-mission critical products - i.e. squadron photos, retirement ceremonies, promotion ceremonies, base beautification, organizational charts, etc.
Time: 30-50 Working Days
